Pedal and Paddle is based at Otematata in the Waitaki Valley of the South Island of New Zealand and in close proximity to the Alps 2 Ocean Cycleway, where we provide a range of rider support and services to Alps 2 Ocean cyclists.
We are an Outdoors Mark Accredited family adventure tourism business owned by John & Heather Lawson, established in 2010. Heather is responsible for the business management and promotion and provides base safety backup to John who operates kayak and biking operations.
John is your guide & host with over 35 years relevant outdoors experience and is an experienced event and safety manager. Competing annually in endurance mountain bike races ensures he has the skills, fitness and ability necessary for leading adventure tourism trips.
